Those of us living in the Northeast or similar “four season” climates experience a significant shift in nature’s elements at this time of year. Moving from deep Winter to early Spring can be a notable experience for many, commonly bringing about head colds, allergies, brain fog, and an overall feeling of sluggishness. 

Ayurveda offers intuitive tips and tools to adjust our lifestyle in ways that can support a graceful transition from the harsh elements of deep winter to the nourishing elements of spring. 

Small shifts in our routines, activities, and food choice can ward off the common imbalances described above. 

Simple practices can harness the “new life” energy that comes with warmer temps and longer daylight.

Join this workshop to learn about

▪ Elemental shifts between winter and spring, and how that manifests in mind and body

▪ Common signs of imbalance during this season

▪ Lifestyle practices and food choices that support balance during the transition period

▪ The reason for cleansing at seasonal junctures and simple resources for cleansing.

▪ Demonstration of two supportive practices: Nasal Rinsing (Neti Pot) & Dry Brushing (Garshana)

About the workshop

▪ Having a background in Ayurveda is helpful for this workshop, but not necessary.

▪ Slides and recording will be shared with registrants following the event.

▪ A portion of all proceeds are donated to the Common Street Spiritual Center
